- ア helping 前置詞 for のあとは動名詞。
- ア going How about 〜ing?（〜するのはどう？）。about は前置詞。

- ア I finished to play tennis. finish のあとは動名詞（finished playing）。

- エ Reading 主語の不定詞（To read）は動名詞（Reading）に書きかえられる。

- イ I like swimming. / I like to swim. like / love / begin / start は動名詞も不定詞も可。enjoy・finish は ing のみ、want は to のみ。
- イ I called her before getting to the station. before（前置詞）＋ 動名詞。before I got to the station（接続詞）でも可。
- イ your 正しい順は Watch TV after finishing your homework.（3 番目は your）。前置詞 after のあとに動詞を置くときは動名詞（finishing）にする。
- イ How about going fishing? Sounds good.（いいね）はさそいへの返事 → How about 〜ing?（〜するのはどう？）。about は前置詞なので go ではなく going。
